Saturday's Snippet

Psalm 145:18

 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Good morning, one and all, and a Sweet Saturday may it be!

Life is full of busyness, and many working folks look forward to Saturday because it offers a respite from the daily grind. Sometimes, Saturdays are filled with fun times and family times. In the midst of all the activity around us, there is One constant; One who is ever present, ever near - our very own Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! How blessed we are to have Him close to us!

I was looking through some quotes I'd saved on my computer and found this one to share with you today:

"What do you think of God?", the teacher asked. After a pause, the young pupil replied, "He's not a think, he's a feel." - Paul Frost

My heart is full of gratitude to know that God is near, living inside of me through the power of the Holy Ghost, which means I am never alone. I have an ever-present Friend, Comforter, Deliverer, etc. He's truly not a "think" but a wonderful "feel". 

Here's a simple song I remember from my childhood:
