Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Good morning, one and all!
Last night, my husband preached a wonderful message about faith; encouraging us to believe God for miracles. God still answers prayers. He still heals, delivers and provides. Too often we try to figure things out on our own, or we go to other sources with our problems when God hasn't moved and He hasn't changed. His ears are attentive to the prayers of His children. He's waiting to hear from us, and He has miracles in store for those who will believe Him.
Faith is still the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Our focus verse today says that if we do not doubt but believe.... we can see mountains removed and cast into the sea, or whatsoever we ask. What a promise! And God always keeps His promises.
God cares about what bothers us - a wayward child, sickness, aging parents, job situations, financial needs. He's big enough to hear the cries of thousands of His children all at one time, and know exactly how to meet their needs. What a great God we serve today!
Keep praying. Keep believing. God is well able to meet our needs and to go way beyond our expectations. Here's a simple song to finish up today's spoonful:
Have faith in God
Have faith in God
Have faith in God for deliverance
Have faith in God
Until tomorrow, Lord willing...............
