Saturday's Snippet

Psalm 97:9

 For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

Good morning to all of you, whether family or friends... you are special to me!

As I was trying to put together a worthwhile spoonful of tonic to serve to you today, I thought of a song by a friend of ours, Rev. Tony Roberts, entitled, "I Can't Find the Words", and I thought I'd share those with you today.

Verse One

I've tried wonderful, marvelous, incredible, too

Unbelievable, inconceivable, but these words would not do.

They all fell so short when I tried to convey the greatness of Jesus,

So I've just come to say:

Chorus

I just can't find the words to really express

The greatness of Jesus, so I must confess

I've tried big words and small words but none that I've heard

Could describe Him, I just can't find the words

Verse Two

I took down my dictionary

I searched it all through

I did a lot of looking in some other books, too

But when my search was over, I came right back around

To what I knew from the beginning

No words could be found

Such true words - there's no way to really describe our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! He's far above everything. Greater than the greatest. Better than the best. He's more wonderful than this world's greatest wonder. What a blessing that I know I am His and He is mine!
