Friday's Footnote

Psalm 127:3

Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Greetings once again, family and friends!
Friday has almost come and gone, and I am typing away so that I will not miss a day of blogging. On some days, the words come easy but, on other days, I feel as if the blank page taunts me. Yet, God is good on every day, and I just want to say that today has been a blessed day.
I am enjoying two of my grandsons, and they are always saying something funny. I love the innocence of children. What they think, they say. Some of the things that come from their lips would only be funny and cute to me because I know the why behind their words. Tonight, two grandsons, using their mother's phone, were texting me with all kinds of silly emoticons, and phrases. I found that to be just sweet, especially when one said, "Mimi, you're awesome, and the other followed it with, "I love you, Mimi!" It doesn't get any better than that!
Children are an heritage of the Lord.... but grandchildren, now they are really an heritage of the Lord! Blessed are the adults who become grandparents... oh, such a good life. I love my grandchildren, and I find each of them to be different from the other. Some are more outgoing than others. Some love to help while others like to let the others help. LOL!
I just wanted to write a few words about the blessing of grandchildren.... oh, and did I tell you about the new granddaughter that arrived on Easter Sunday? Well, Miss Chloe has us all wrapped around those tiny newborn fingers, I tell you!
It is time to say "Goodnight", but I hope to see you again some time tomorrow with another spoonful!

Here are some cute quotes about grandchildren:
All grandchildren are brilliant, beautiful and take after their Grandmother.

Even when my grandchildren are not in my arms, on my lap, or in my home, they are in my heart and there they will stay forever.
