Wednesday's Whisper

Deuteronomy 11:13-15

13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

15 And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.

Good morning, and a Wet but Wonderful Wednesday to you all!

God is good, when it's dry and sunny, or wet and dreary! He's good all the time!

My words will be few today, but I just want to share some words about passion. What does passion really mean? I like this definition: strong and barely controllable emotion. With relation to our love for the Lord, our passion for Him, it should definitely be "barely controllable emotion," wouldn't you say so?

My desire today and I hope for the rest of my life is to be passionate about loving my God, living for Him, serving Him, and sharing Him. He deserves my love, my life, my service, and to be shared.

I've heard this chorus a few times since the beginning of the year, and I love it... 

With all my heart

With all my mind

With all my soul, with all my strength

I love You, Lord

You rescued me from sin and shame

You're my everything

I love You, Lord
