Monday's Moment

Psalm 16:11

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

A good Marvelous Monday greeting to all of you!

The presence of the Lord, how sweet it is! Just yesterday, we felt God's presence in both church services we attended; we were stirred by being in His presence, and the sweet perfume lingers on this morning.

Even though we are facing a new day, and the start of another busy week, the presence of the Lord can and should remain sweet to us. Circumstances don't change God; they actually should draw us closer to Him and Him to us. He promised to never leave us, and God does keep His promises! 

By seeking the face of God and His favor early each morning, with Monday setting that special time pattern, we will sense God closer regardless of where we are and what we are doing. We need His presence, and we can have His presence because it is a privilege granted to His children. If we possess His Spirit inside, we have His presence always. Having Jesus with us throughout each moment of every day is one of life's dearest and greatest treasures. May we hold it close and cherish it!
