1 Timothy 1:17
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Good morning, and a Marvelous Monday to you all!
Last night ended a five-week, six-Sunday revival with Pastor & Sister Harlan Morgan and the great congregation of the First Pentecostal Church of Sulphur, LA. What started as a planned two-week revival stretched out, and oh, what an awesome move of God we have experienced. It has been a true blessing to be a part of this revival. And, it's so hard to leave. But, leave we must, and revival will continue here in this church.
As I think back over the past six weeks, I believe there were ten or eleven who received the Holy Ghost, and I believe five or six were baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. God is moving in Sulphur, LA! To Him belongs all the glory for what has happened. We all have made ourselves available to the Lord, and He has worked in the lives of hungry people.
This song came to mind as I was trying to get my thoughts together for this post:
My Tribute
by Andrae Crouch
How can I say thanks
For the things You have done for me?
Things so undeserved yet You gave
To prove Your love to me
The voices of a million angels
Could not express my gratitude
All that I am, and ever hope to be
I owe it all to Thee
To God be the glory
To God be the glory
To God be the glory
For the things He has done
With His blood He has saved me
With his power He has raised me
To God be the glory
For the things He has done
Just let me live my life
And let it be pleasing, Lord, to Thee
And should I gain any praise
Let it go to Calvary
With His blood He has saved me
With His power He has raised me
To God be the glory
For the things He has done
God deserves all the glory for the things He has done for us since the beginning of 2016. He is not finished yet, as there is so much more ahead for all of us.
May your Monday be most marvelous, and I pray to be back again tomorrow with yet another spoonful!
