Tuesday's Tidbit

Psalm 42:1-2

 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

Psalm 63:1

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

Good morning!

I find it quite amazing that even though we feel good in church on Sunday, a hunger and thirst for more of God prevails on into the week. And, what is even more amazing is that my hunger and thirst for Him are always satisfied when I seek Him. The more we seek Him, the more we find Him. The hungrier we are; the thirstier we are; the more we are filled. It is like having an unquenchable hunger and thirst, all for the right reasons!

Several songs are on my mind today, and I'll let them be our spoonful of tonic. Nothing like the Word of God and a song to help us on our way toward more of God!
