Psalm 147:1
Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
Good morning, everybody!
We are once again blessed to be alive on Sweet Saturday! This is the day that the Lord has made, and we are going to rejoice in it! My spoonful of thankfulness today is directed toward praise. I'm thankful that we can (and should and will) praise our God! No other is worthy of praise.
One definition for praise is: to express thanks to or love and respect for (God). Another one is: to honor, worship, and express admiration for God. Imagine life and church without the beauty of praise? Imagine thinking about how great God is, and all He has done, and you couldn't let it out. Why, we might just explode! But, once again, I'm thankful for the privilege of offering praise to my God.
I like the verse for today because it says that praise is comely, and that word means: pleasing in appearance; pretty or attractive. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and it is pretty praise. It looks good on us when the focus goes beyond us to Him. When we make JESUS look good, why it makes us look good.

What do you say we make this day a day of praise? In the midst of our busyness, let's just take some time out to give the Lord HIGH PRAISE!! He is good, and He has been good to all of us!
