Deuteronomy 3:24

O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

Many mornings I awake with a song on my mind, and today was no exception -

What a mighty God we serve

Mighty God we serve

Angels bow before this mighty God we serve

I looked up the definition for mighty, and this is what I found:

Possessing great and impressive power or strength, especially on account of size.

The last part of that definition kind of leaped off the page... "especially on account of size." Our verse today points out that OUR God is the only One in heaven and in earth that can do what He does and with such might! And we are His children - and He is our God! So when we pray to Him in the most dire of situations, He is well able to do what we ask Him to do.

There is no weakness in our God - not one tiny smidgen. We are weak but He is strong!

Psalm 89:13

Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

Our God has a mighty arm, as well as a strong and high right hand. There is no mountain He cannot move; no burden He cannot lift!

Psalm 150:2

Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

What a good practice for us to daily praise God for His mighty acts! If we would all write down the many mighty acts that God has done for us throughout our lives, we would soon run out of paper and ink!

O What a mighty God we serve!!! 

Our God is moving on this Monday!!! Trust Him to move for YOU!!!
