Monday's Moment

Matthew 5:6

 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Good morning, and a Marvelous Monday morning to you all!

Yesterday was the beginning of revival in Jackson, LA, and it started off with a bang!! The presence of the Lord was so rich and real, and powerful, and awesome...... 

One lady, and I'll call her Kay to protect her privacy, is so hungry to receive the Holy Ghost. There is just something about this lady that stands out, and I believe it can be accurately described as hunger. She's hungry for the love of God and His people, and she told my husband that she really wants the Holy Ghost.

Jesus promised that those who "hunger and thirst after righteousness.... shall be filled." the promises of Jesus can be "taken to the bank" as they are true and real. He will never turn His head away from hunger and thirst; He will deliver what He has promised. And, all hungry people will receive the Holy Ghost as they did on the day of Pentecost and since then.

This chorus is on my heart for today:

Makes me want to clap my hands....

Praise Him while I have a chance....

I'm thankful for the moving of the Holy Ghost, and to be right in the middle of it all.
