Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Good morning, everybody!
'Tis Tuesday.... hopefully terrific and tremendous, as we trust the Lord!
Before going to bed, we found out a very sick friend was so critical that she might not make it through the night. We prayed before going to bed, and throughout the early hours of the morning, I'd awaken, wondering and praying....
She made it through the night! Praise be to Jesus, our Healer, and the One who hears and answers prayers!
Today also marks our oldest son's 40th birthday, and I'm in shock that so many years have already come and gone since I held my first baby! Now, he's a husband and the dad of three of my beautiful grandchildren! I'm a blessed mom today. Happy Birthday to my Andrew!!
Then, thirteen years ago, on our son's birthday, our only daughter got married. So, today is a day of celebration for my children! Happy Anniversary to Heath & Heidi Flowers!
As I thought and prayed about our sick friend through the night, this song came to my mind:
Worry Ends Where Faith Begins
as sung by The Whisnants
Verse One
You're worried about tomorrow
And what the future holds
Your mind is filled with questions
As you face the unknown
You've spent so many sleepless nights
Trying to work it out
Worry has consumed your faith
With all its fear and doubt
Chorus
But worry ends where faith begins
When you put it in God's hands
And leave it there
Oh, just leave it there
He's still in control so trust in Him
And take ahold of faith again
For worry ends where faith begins
Verse Two
Why should we ever worry
Why should we fret at all
When worry only hinders
The mighty hand of God
He says it is impossible
To please Him without faith
So lay aside your worry
Walk on in Jesus' Name!
The Lord is in control of our lives, our families, our friends, and our future - we can and must trust Him!!
Love to all today; may your Tuesday be terrific in every way!
Hope to be back again tomorrow......
Amen!! God is faithful.
