1 Chronicles 29:11
Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
Good morning, family & friends!
We have awakened to another Wonderful Wednesday! Prepare to be WOWed by The Wonder of wonders and The Wonderful!
I'm grateful for a move of God that we are experiencing here in Sulphur, LA, and the thanks for it all is due our Great and Mighty God! To Him belongs all greatness, power, glory, victory and majesty. He owns everything in heaven and in earth. The kingdom is the Lord's. He is exalted as "head above all." There is no one like our God.
This song was on my mind as I woke up this morning, and I just want to share it today:
The Great I Am Still Is
written by Phil Cross and Twila LaBar
sung by the Triumphant Quartet
Verse One
Israel's deliver, divider of the sea
The conqueror of Jericho, Jehovah set them free
Some think of these as fables with no relevance today
But God's past power never passed away
Chorus
The Great I AM still is
The heavens and the earth are His
He's the Merciful, Almighty, Forever, Holy
In everything we must remember this
The Great I AM still is
Verse Two
To all the walking wounded ones who seek to make things right
To stranded souls in darkness who long to see the light
To those who tread a troubled road and feel they can't go on
There is a promise we can stand upon
(Chorus Again)
Bridge
I stand in every test
For the Great I AM still is
I could lose it all and still be blessed
Yes, the Great I AM still is
I'm a sinner saved by grace because
The Great I AM still is
O, but I'm not today what I once was
But the Great I AM still is
To God be the glory, today and forever. I'm glad the Great I AM still is! He will never change, but He will remain constant in all seasons.
God bless your Wednesday. Remember to listen really close for the Whisper of The Wonderful on this Wednesday.
Hoping to see you again tomorrow.....
