Revelation 21:23
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Good morning, one and all!
God has blessed us to see yet another Marvelous Monday, and because it is a gift from God, we will rejoice and be glad!
Yesterday was a blessed day, filled with time spent in the presence of God and some of His precious people. The songs were all beautiful, and the Word of God was powerful. As God saw His creation, He saw that it "was good," and that's how I felt about my Sunday. I sincerely hope yours was a blessed day, as well.
Throughout my married life, we have moved more times than I want to count, so I know a lot about the changing of addresses. I've lived in eight states, too. My husband and I often jokingly call ourselves the "movers and the shakers." Anyway, one song that was sung yesterday spoke of a change of address yet to come for all Christians. I'd like to share these beautiful lyrics with you.
Address Change Notification
by Rev. Don Johnson
Verse One
I've been living in this world for quite a long time
Always looking for a place to call my home
I was never quite satisfied with what I saw down here
So I'll be moving to my brand new home
Chorus
This is an address change notification
I'm moving to a much better place
Where there'll be no tears, no sorrow
There'll be no more pain
This is to tell you of my address change
Verse Two
The place where I'm moving is lovely and new
There's a river that flows like crystal
And a wall of jasper, too
The street in front of my house is paved with purest gold
It's a place where we'll never grow old
If our lives are totally surrendered to God, there will come a day soon when we WILL have an address change. My desire is to work as if He is never going to return, but live as if He's coming any moment. What a day that will be when our Jesus we shall see!! One glimpse of His dear face, all sorrow will erase...... Oh, the songs that have been written about heaven, and someday it will be a reality!
Live in expectancy!
Until tomorrow, have a Marvelous Monday and if the Lord allows, we'll see you then....
