Isaiah 38:20
The Lord was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the Lord.
Good morning, family and friends!
Do you ever think about how awesome it is that we serve a God who never changes? He is always consistent; always the same. People change like the weather sometimes, but God is not like that. He remains the same.
I pray for a renewal in my own life of being consistent, especially as it relates to spiritual matters. I long to be the same each day in my love for God; not up one day and down the next. Totally devoted, serving Him with all that I possess, every day in every way.
Friday night, I heard a minister sing an old song but the words were so true and anointed. I want to share them with you as a token of what my heart feels today:
You're Still Lord
(authors: Lanny Wolfe, Phil Johnson)
Verse One
When I was just a child, I heard the beautiful story
Of how You loved me so You died on Calvary
And though I claimed You way back then as Lord Almighty
Things haven't changed,
My love is still the same
You're still Lord to me
Chorus
You're still Lord,
You're still my Father
In little or much,
I still feel Your touch
You're still Lord
You're still Lord
You're still my Father
You'll always be mine
For all of time
You're still Lord
Verse Two
Some have called You Lord
But now they serve another
To worldly things their hearts have pledged its loyalty
But as for me, when I made my choice
It was forever
And now as before, but now even more
You're still Lord to me
Praying you have a terrific Tuesday, enjoying the blessings of the Lord, and giving Him thanks in all things and for all things!
Lord willing, I'll see you tomorrow for another spoonful!
