Sunday's Specialty

Ephesians 3:19

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Good morning, one and all!
It's Sunday once again.... Did somebody say Church Time? I'm getting ready to go!!
Not too long ago, as I was trying to sort through all kinds of papers that I've saved through the years, I found a handwritten note. After reading just a few lines, I knew that this wasn't one of my love notes to my husband, but rather one that belonged to one of my children. So, being the discreet mother that I am, I took a picture of it and emailed it to the proper party.
Then, following that incident, I was at the home of another one of my children and noticed a handwritten note on their keyboard. Again, after glancing at the note and recognizing whose writing it was, I knew that this note wasn't mine either.
These two notes gave me a thought - while they did not belong to me (and I do have my own set of personal love notes in a special box at home), I do own a volume of personal love notes; and I carry this special book with me when I travel. There is no other book like it, for it's filled with so many notes that speak of the greatest love ever. This book is the Bible, God's Holy Word!
There is not enough space in one hundred blog posts to tell of all that I can find within the Bible that speaks of the love of God toward me (and you). Just a few special notes:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want..... Psalm 23:1
For God so love the world, that he gave....... John 3:16
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand.... Isaiah 41:13
This book of love letters never grows old. If people will search through it, and pore over it daily, they will find new treasures every time they read.
Just a few lines from the chorus of a beautiful song, Written in Red.... (written by Gordon Jensen):
I love you, I love you
That's what Calvary said
I love you, I love you
I love you
Written in red
Find your book of love letters (I sure hope you don't have to dust it off!).... read it, study it, cry over it, bask in its contents...... Then, tomorrow, do it all over again!
Until tomorrow, Lord willing.................
